Edwin Cota is the son of Antonio Domingo Cota, a farmer we've been working with for many years. If you've been following us for a while, you will know we have worked with Edwin and his family for a long time. His father is Antonio Domingo Cota, with neighbor Feliciano Silvestre Ros. Edwin has a beautiful family, with wife Claribel and daughter Hannah, who all give a hand on the farm. We were first attracted the Asociación Civil Guaya'b because they produced some of the finest Organic, Fair Trade coffees we could find anywhere. They are a model of sustainability in a fairly remote region - and we use another one of this group's coffees as a base for our High Tide espresso.

In 2018, a team from Bard and Wicked Joe, visited the cooperative and led a multi-day workshop. This workshop covered everything from sample-roasting, cupping, and brewing coffee. We are extremely proud of this relationship and hope you give Edwin's coffee a try!

We roast on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and to ensure the best tasting coffees, orders received after Monday may not be processed or shipped until the following week.
