This coffee is from the Ichamama Wet Mill, a washing station near Karima Hill in Nyeri. The station was named after the Ichamama river which flows near enough to the station to be the source of water for processing coffee. Ichamama is one of nineteen washing stations that make up the Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society. Cherries come from over 780 smallholder farmers, of which over 270 are women!
We roast on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and to ensure the best tasting coffees, orders received after Monday may not be processed or shipped until the following week.
